I’ve simply been stuck on trying to make a cross-domain GET request work to finish the Weather App challenge on Free Code Camp, but I simply can’t do it. Nothing simple about the whole thing.

Came to Medium to look for inspiration on programming (I wasn’t about to give up, just taking a break after another hour pulling my hair trying to make it work), and found this. Such perfect timing.

I did however manage to learn how to deal with multiple asynchronous requests using Promise earlier today, and used it successfully on the same challenge. Baby steps. One tiny foot in front of the other. Eventually I’ll get there…

But damn, you’re so right — coding is hard. Maybe even tougher than brain surgery!
